William Winans Drake, Jr. papers primarily consist of his writings. Also included are a small

Methodist Episcopal Church, South in Louisiana during the twentieth century. His writings largely

Standing in the Gap: The Life and Ministry of Rev. Lea Joyner (Lima, OH: Fairway Press, 1987).
Joyner was one of the few ordained woman in the Louisiana Conference of the Methodist Church
(South Central Jurisdiction) during the mid-twentieth century. The collection contains newspaper
